As Market Director for the Highways sector within this digital analytics consultancy, you will be responsible for sales opportunities across the division working closely with other Market Directors and Offering Partners growing the business year on year.
As part of the role, you will both frame and drive business opportunities to generate a revenue of up to £10m per annum. You will also lead from a market perspective, shaping the capability of offerings to meet the client’s needs.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
• Grow the Total Addressable Market (TAM) for the UK Highways sector 
• Take responsibility for the delivery of agreed revenue in the UK Highways sector.
• Identify, create and support the delivery of business opportunities for business with a time horizon of 6-18 months out.
• Support to secure opportunities 0-6 months out.
• Identify and exploit new business channels, partnerships, and routes to market.
• Building relationships with existing and new potential clients.
• Shaping bids and contributing to content.
• Undertaking between 25% - 50% chargeable work.
• Be a member of the Markets management team supporting the Senior Leadership Team in business strategy.

As the ideal candidate you will have:
• Ability to operate at C-Suite level and establish effective relationships with clients
• Good examples of where you have led the strategic engagement with public sector clients, establishing a consistent pipeline of work.
• Direct experience of developing compelling sales proposals aligned to client needs, and a track record of converting opportunities into profitable business.
• Ability in presenting to and influencing key stakeholders within your own business as well as client organisations.
• Capable management and growth of key accounts and frameworks, acting in a leading role such as Framework Manager or Capture Lead.
• Have proven experience in running complex, multi-million pound £2m-£5m accounts with multiple stakeholders.
• Established consultancy skills that can be utilised in the business.
• Mentoring and support of team members relating to business development and bidding.
• Strong CRM skills and demonstrable experience of ensuring consistency and accuracy in pipelines
